A Review of the Batman LEGO Building Block Toys
Kids have loved to put things together since construction toys entered into their little lives. It gives them great confidence in themselves to start with a stack of colored shapes and wind up with a replica of the famous Batmobile that has been part of Batman’s world since he began his journey into helping people in the comic book world. LEGO was ahead of the pack when it began building a line of four LEGO Batman related construction kits with all the necessary blocks, along with more decals than ever to decorate the Batmobile, the other vehicles, and the characters such as the evil Joker and Two-Face.
These small plastic blocks were a creation made in heaven as far as parents are concerned. They can keep children entertained for hours at a time until they create their characters and accessories exactly as they want them. Now they can start playing out the scenes from the movies that they love so much. LEGO has even added hair to the villains to hide their evil side until it is time for this expression to be revealed in your child’s storyline.
Each package of the Batman kit has each character or article in numbered bags with the instructions on the bag. By opening each individual bag separately, LEGO has made it so much easier for any age group, even dad. These separate bags keeps specific pieces all in one place and not just in one big pile on the floor. In the past, this has been very frustrating when the construction is about to begin and the pieces are everywhere.
Along with the Batmobile and the Dragster driven by Batman, and the motorcycle ridden by the Catwoman minifig, now Two-Face has his own armored truck. His truck is two-toned and has his own mark of his scarred face on one side with the unscarred on the other, in LEGO style of course. In each Batman kit, there are all the weapons needed for that particular set such as guns, missiles, whips, even barricades to block vehicles, and henchmen to try to help the evil characters. All of these extras will make your child’s enjoyment of their LEGO experience all the more special, whichever one they chose. You may eventually have to find an extra room for all of them when your child begs you for just one more, and then again for just one more.
We can’t forget the older group of Batman LEGO fanatics who’ve never grown out of their love of this hobby that started when they began building creations when they were very young. There are extravagant kits with thousands of pieces for these older lovers of LEGO blocks.
