Nicocure Now Smoke Deter

Lots of people need a way to quit smoking, but they are reluctant to use strong drugs to do so. That rules out the really big guns like the stop smoking shot for sure. It may also eliminate the milder stop smoking aids like Chantix and Wellbutrin. Even the Commit Lozenges  may be suspect.

In cases like this you will probably wind up turning to some form of herbal supplement and feel very virtuous for avoiding the evil drugs. The funny thing is that herbs can be just as powerful and cause just as many problems as conventional drugs. This is especially true if you are on some kind of medication or are combining different herbs yourself without professional supervision. The common perception that herbal remedies are inherently safe is simply wrong. A good friend of mine wound up in a psych ward for two weeks after taking a little St. Johns Wort. Nicocure is an herbal preparation that is supposed to make it a cinch to quit smoking. It has just come out in a new format and is now called Smoke Deter. They've eliminated the Lobelia from the list of ingredients, and also changed the method of delivery. Nicocure used to be available as a patch or a pill, but now they've gone with a spray that you shoot under your tongue.

This product is a homeopathic supplement, so it is unlikely to cause any adverse reactions. Homeopathy uses very small amounts of the active ingredients and then cuts them over and over again until they are scarcely detectable. This scarcity of active ingredients is one reason conventional medical practitioners think homeopathic remedies are so much snake oil.

There's no way of knowing yet whether the new format of what used to be Nicocure will actually be effective. Of course they promise the moon and they are getting rave reviews, but that doesn't mean it will work long-term. Everybody knows its hard to quit smoking for good and despite anything anybody tells you there is no quick fix.
