A sample of the census test is provided to help job seekers to get a job with the United States Census Bureau. The sample exam is very similar to the actual test and so are the questions that are in it. There are twenty eight multiple choice questions, which a candidate must answer within thirty minutes. The required passing score is seventy percent so you cannot miss more than ten questions.
If you are going to get a sample of the census test on the internet, you will be downloading a PDF file. The test booklet contains questions that are designed to measure your abilities, skills, and necessary knowledge for performing various census tasks. It also has several parts which includes reading, number skills, evaluating alternatives, clerical skills and organizational skills. There are several possible answers to a question but they are very similar to one another. It can be very confusing so be sharp and be certain to follow any of the census test tips provided and you should be able to pass the test.
To make your census test preparation more realistic, have a timer with you while you are taking the sample test. If you cannot finish within the required time, assess what you did wrong and do the test again. The practice test comes with the same general instructions as the actual exam. Be sure to understand each of them before answering the questions. There are also directions which apply to particular questions or group of questions. You should be able to comprehend and follow these directions on the actual exam without help from your examiner.
You will have four choices for each question, all of which can be very similar to each another. The key is to choose the best possible answer. All your answers should be written on the answer sheet that is provided with the test booklet. Only one answer is allowed per item so if you change your answer, be sure you erase the first one.
