As we head closer to the summer, couples all around the world are anxiously awaiting their beach weddings. Yes, it has become popular to get married seaside, as couples find more appeal to a romantic wedding on the shore, with the sun in their faces, and waives splashing in the background, than the traditional formal wedding in a chapel. And with a wedding on the beach you get to put a spin on the beach theme, with your wedding dress, invitations, favors, and wedding cake.
Naturally, when you get married in the summer and the weather is hot, you need to take special consideration to your wedding dress. Some women find it a lot easier to choose a beach wedding dress because the formalities of a church gown don’t apply. Shorter dresses are perfectly decent, as are strapless and sleeveless gowns as well. But the most important factor is to avoid a heavy, multi-layered, wedding dress that both looks warm and is warm. This can spell catastrophe on your wedding day, when you might end up in a pool of sweat, or even worse pass out from the heat.
Beach theme wedding invitations are popular for a summer wedding, and are pretty easy to make on your own if you have a knack for finger work. One idea is to have a picture taken of you and your partner on the beach. While you are there you can pick some nice shells, and gather some sand, that you can put on the invitation next to your picture. Of course, if making your own cards isn’t your thing, have a wedding invitation shop make them for you. There are tons of them online that are pretty affordable, and that send you the invitations when they are finished.
