There are many bottle companies but only a few are reputable ones. Some of these are Nalgene, SIGG, and Klean Kanteen. These companies have proven themselves worthy of their customers’ patronage through providing quality and safe water bottles.

A great number of people still continue to purchase plastic water bottles despite it being identified as one of the leading materials that leach Bisphenol-A. BPA is a harmful chemical that causes certain cancers as well as obesity, infertility, and heart disease. Some studies revealed that the material used to line the inside of Sigg bottles leach BPA especially when it has been used for a long time. However, SIGG assures their customers that these allegations are not based on facts.

Out of the three common materials used in producing safe water bottles, stainless steel is the best and healthiest choice. Klean Kanteen is known to produce high-quality stainless steel water bottles. Their products are long-lasting, inexpensive, odor-resistant, impervious to staining, does not change the taste of what they contain, and safe for dishwasher use.  And most importantly, it does not leach any dangerous chemicals such as Bisphenol-A. Yet, there is one drawback. Using Klean Kanteen bottles to store hot liquids is not advisable because they are unlined and can consequently cause injury to the user.
