We're surrounded by fungus. In any environment that is warm, moist and dark you'll find fungus growth. Fungal infections can take hold on different parts of our body including our nails. Toenails are more often infected than fingernails as they are regularly tucked away in dark, warm socks and shoes. Infected toes become thickened, distorted and yellowish in color. Unfortunately treatment times are very long and many therapies require a daily application. Try and set aside the same time each day for your treatment, but don’t expect visible daily improvements. Above all, be patient, your persistence will pay off eventually.
