All of us have our little collections of things that don't quite fit. I'm talking about those things that you just can't keep arranged, no matter how hard you try. Little pieces of paper, gift cards, knick-knacks, anything else that will just look messy no matter what you do. If you're the same way that I am, then you may also find that plastic drawer storage is the best way to keep these things arranged. Here's some advice on how to keep these things organized, even if they aren't neat.
For starters, don't be afraid to have a drawer or box or container of some kind where you just throw them all into and forget about. Sometimes, storage isn't being able to keep your things organized in their containers. Sometimes it's just about hiding them away in a container and forgetting about them. This is definitely one of those cases.
For that matter, hide the container away too. If you have a plastic drawer that you can put on a closet shelf, or under the bed, or inside a dresser drawer, then don't hesitate to do so. You need to keep this mess out of your day to day sight, but want to make sure you leave it where you know to find it. So don't hide it too well.
Finally, don't worry about any potential mess you make when you put these things away. They're never going to be neat, so as long as you know the category of things you have in there - like I said earlier, maybe this is where all your gift cards are being kept - then it's serving its purpose properly.
