Now that you’ve purchased your vending machines, you need to get them on location as fast as possible so that they can start making money for you. Vending machines sitting around in your garage and living room are doing you no good at all. You have two options available to you when it comes to getting your machines located, one costs money, one costs time. You can hire someone to do it for you or you can choose to do it yourself.

If you choose to do it yourself, this will obviously save a lot of money, but it is very time consuming. You will usually only have about a 5% - 10% success rate, for every 20 businesses you visit perhaps only 1 or two will let you put a machine on location. A lot of people don’t mind this process, but it can be tough on morale. Plus, if you are only doing your vending business part time, do you really want to spend every free minute you have looking for locations? Maybe the answer is yes, because this is part of a longer term goal, but a lot of people will find this second option more attractive.

The second option is to hire an individual or a company to find locations for your machines. It costs about $50 - $65 for each double head bulk machine. The way I like to view it is if I can pay someone to get my vending machine on location, in less than 5 months I’ve paid for the location. I weigh this against how long it will take me personally to place 30 machines while I make absolutely nothing. For me this is the option I currently favor. When I go full time, perhaps this will change.

Whichever method you decide to use, start today, so in a month from now you can be collecting up your quarters and putting money in your bank account.
