How to Stop Hurting Yourself and Others

You've heard the word Sin before, right? This word might even frighten you or you might think it doesn't even apply to you, lets take a closer look.

In this world, we have come up with a lot of labels for many things, but there is always a core reason for why things happen. The word sin is just not for religious people, this word goes after anybody and everybody it can.

What is Sin?

In the religious sense it's an act that goes against Gods rules. You know, thou shalt not kill or you should not steal, these things. Don't think your exempt from the attacks, your a part of this like anyone else.

I'm an expert, not in a scholarly way, but in a hands on way. I lived with it for years, but never really understood sin it until recently.

Have you ever had a friend only to find out behind your back he was stabbing you? Well, put that face on sin and you get a better picture of what your up against.

I had to lose something very precious to me before I realized the whole story, my atonement is to shed light on sin so some won't have to get to that point. Unfortunately, most people need a significant event to happen to them before they wake up.

So, what is sin? It is something you can't see but influences you to take actions that hurt people. That's simple enough, but you say that's crazy, I've heard all this stuff before. Let me ask you, can you see or feel the radio waves passing through you? But you know the exist because your radio and cell phone works.

When you do something that hurts someone, causes problems, did it just happen? No, you had to have a thought before you did it. This is sin at work, but it just loves you to think it doesn't exist.

If eating sweets doesn't hurt me but it hurts your health, then is this a sin for you? I'd say yes because it's damaging you, but we can excuse it as a eating disorder and then there's a pill for it. But what's at the core of this?
