A Review of the Batman LEGO Building Block Toys
Kids have loved to put things together since construction toys entered into their little lives. It gives them great confidence in themselves to start with a stack of colored shapes and wind up with a replica of the famous Batmobile that has been part of Batman’s world since he began his journey into helping people in the comic book world. LEGO was ahead of the pack when it began building a line of four LEGO Batman related construction kits with all the necessary blocks, along with more decals than ever to decorate the Batmobile, the other vehicles, and the characters such as the evil Joker and Two-Face.
These small plastic blocks were a creation made in heaven as far as parents are concerned. They can keep children entertained for hours at a time until they create their characters and accessories exactly as they want them. Now they can start playing out the scenes from the movies that they love so much. LEGO has even added hair to the villains to hide their evil side until it is time for this expression to be revealed in your child’s storyline.
Each package of the Batman kit has each character or article in numbered bags with the instructions on the bag. By opening each individual bag separately, LEGO has made it so much easier for any age group, even dad. These separate bags keeps specific pieces all in one place and not just in one big pile on the floor. In the past, this has been very frustrating when the construction is about to begin and the pieces are everywhere.
Along with the Batmobile and the Dragster driven by Batman, and the motorcycle ridden by the Catwoman minifig, now Two-Face has his own armored truck. His truck is two-toned and has his own mark of his scarred face on one side with the unscarred on the other, in LEGO style of course. In each Batman kit, there are all the weapons needed for that particular set such as guns, missiles, whips, even barricades to block vehicles, and henchmen to try to help the evil characters. All of these extras will make your child’s enjoyment of their LEGO experience all the more special, whichever one they chose. You may eventually have to find an extra room for all of them when your child begs you for just one more, and then again for just one more.
We can’t forget the older group of Batman LEGO fanatics who’ve never grown out of their love of this hobby that started when they began building creations when they were very young. There are extravagant kits with thousands of pieces for these older lovers of LEGO blocks.

Reasons To Replace A Lawn With Artificial Grass
There are many reasons for wanting to replace a natural grass lawn, regardless of whether it might be the front lawn or the back lawn. In a few cases the decision could be one of personal aesthetic preference and in others it could be because the task of maintaining the upkeep of the lawn is becoming too much.
Whatever the case, the range of choices of synthetic grass is wide. Not only can you choose a brand of synthetic grass you can also choose the species of grass that you’d like your fake version to mimic. You can choose to lay a lawn of fescue, ryegrass or bluegrass and, in some cases, you can also choose how long the grass can look to have grown.
You should be aware that not all local governments will allow a front yard to use synthetic grass, so before you begin your investigation of the various types of artificial grass for sale you should find out whether it is actually allowed in your area.
Once you have chosen your synthetic grass, and have confirmed that you are allowed to install it, the task of the installation can take place. Most suppliers will also offer an installation service and in the majority of cases the best advice is to pay for the installation to be done. Those doing the installing should be experienced synthetic grass installers and will have the proper equipment to do the job right. You might also find that if you do the installation yourself you will be voiding your warranty – something to consider.
Even though one of the selling points for installing synthetic grass is that it is low maintenance, regular care of your new synthetic grass will be required to keep it looking as much like real grass as possible. It will have to be swept, cleaned and fluffed or else the grass fibers are going to quickly become clogged with debris and it will look matted and tired.
If you put in a little bit of work in caring for you new synthetic grass you will be able to enjoy it for many years to come.

There are thousands of non-traditional wedding cake toppers available today. Bride and groom figurines are not just standing side by side in their gown and tux anymore. Now you can find little wedding twosomes riding motorcycles, skiing or fishing. Some of the more amusing cake toppers have the bride hauling the groom to the alter or the groom wearing a ball and chain.
Another fun way to go with your cake topper is to have the figures created to look just like you. There are several companies that will provide this service. You can even decide on the clothing the two figures are wearing.
Personalized cake toppers can be a bit pricier than other toppers so if you have a smaller budget there are other ways to create a cake topper that reflects who you are as a couple. Think about your interests and what you what to represent the two of you. Look for a little inspiration online and in stores and then go for it! You can find miniature figures, little props etc. at craft stores and can probably create a cake topper that would be a great reflection of you and your spouse-to-be. Is Bottled Drinking Water Healthier?
Is using a pure drinking water filtration system better than drinking water straight from the tap? When you purchase bottled water, it has usually gone through a specialized filtration system that helps reduce the micro-bacteria from the end product that you drink. The systems use a charcoal filter that cuts down any organism from getting through. This means the water you are drinking has less contaminates than standard tap water would have. You can get this same kind of drinking water by installing a purifying filtration system on your faucet.
Drinking water that has fewer bacteria in it reduces your chances of becoming ill. We have all heard the warnings about drinking the water in foreign countries. This is because the filtration systems they use do not need to meet the same standards of health regulations they do in the U.S. Some countries may not have any water filtration system at all. Since your body is not accustomed to dealing with the bacteria in the water, you are more likely to become sick from drinking it. The same holds true for your ordinary house tap water. Even though the government has specific regulations for testing water, there are times when accidents can occur and pollutants can contaminate the water you drink.
Using pure drinking water such as bottled water is more beneficial in flushing toxins out of the body’s system. If you are concerned about being healthier and drink lots of water to keep your system flushed you would be better off drinking the bottled water. This is also true if you are someone that is prone to getting ill. If you want to ensure the water you use to drink and prepare foods with is the best it can be, you should invest in a quality water filtration system for your kitchen sink.

Classical Chinese Martial Arts Clothing
If you walk into any training hall these days and see a class doing Chinese martial arts, you are likely to find that all the students and the teacher will be wearing jogging pants and a t-shirt. This modern attire has taken over from the traditional martial arts clothing often worn in feudal China before the 1700s. Martial arts clothing in the modern style generally appeared during the 20th century, as the oriental martial arts travelled to the West. Often there will be some Chinese calligraphy on the t-shirt to denote which particular kung fu style the school practises, and perhaps baggy kung fu pants – rather than standard jogging bottoms – which allow for higher kicks without being restricted.
In the classical Chinese periods pre-1700, the martial art clothes worn by kung fu practitioners were made of silk or light cotton. These robes were long sleeved, and full-length, stretching down to below the knees, but split at both sides. These splits allowed the Chinese martial artists to carry out their techniques and training, such as deep horse stances, as well as high kicking. In some respects, the flowing movements of the clothing also helped to disguise certain strikes, by making the opponent think your fist is striking somewhere else, when actually what they are watching is simply the sleeve. Similar misdirection is used in Chinese martial weaponry, especially with the spears and double-ended spears, which have bright red tassles; these are designed to confuse the opponent as to where the actual sharp spear head is aiming – and rather gruesomely, also to soak up the victims’ blood, so it doesn’t run down the wooden shaft of the spear and make it a sticky hindrance!
Like in all aspects of fashion, the Chinese martial arts clothing of this classical era – as you can see depicted in movies such as Hero, starring Jet Li – fell out of fashion, and made way, during the Qing Dynasty, for the short black Manchu jacket, commonly associated with the late, great Bruce Lee. But even these so-called Mandarin kung fu uniforms are rarely used during martial arts practice in most schools these days.

Gemstone and Hand Carved Titanium Rings
Titanium ruby ring designs are available for as little as $150 through Titanium Era, where the genuine rubies are tensions et in solid titanium bands. Choose high polished or brushed finishes, wide bands or thin delicate styles. Select genuine gemstones and hand carved titanium rings that come in unique Celtic or antique and engraved styles that are better quality than sterling silver, lighter than steel and more durable than white gold while still being almost half the price of platinum.
How Much do Titanium Ruby Rings Cost?
Multiple bezel set stones cost only about $200 to $300 and simple Kanji rings with a ruby accent and an engraved Chinese or Japanese character cost only $300. Large ruby rings with wide polished bands can be as little as $250 or as much as $600, and ladies titanium ruby ring designs are less because the bands are usually more delicate. Go all out with creations like the titanium Era Ruby Pegasus that has twenty rubies, AA quality, peppered all over a 5 mm titanium band and it will cost you just over $900. or stay a little conservative and chose from a wide selection of hand carved titanium rings, like the Ruby Aftonita that has a delicate carved motif around the band and a round AA ruby for just under $470. Not affordable enough? Then try the titanium ruby ring collection with smaller gems like a Tolmezitta 4mm band with a .03 ctw for under $250 or a Ruby Angelica for just $150 and that one has 3 genuine stones.
Hand Craved Rings in Titanium
Intricately hand carved rings start at just over $550 through Titanium Era, but these pieces are inlaid with gold or platinum and simply must be seen to understand how gorgeously crafted they are. The motifs are delicate yet sculpted with bold lines that aren’t just light etchings or laser motifs. These are chiseled and honed into works of art….but, wait….why gold and platinum for the inlays? Because titanium is very hard and difficult to engrave with anything but lasers, so what Titanium Era has done is ingenious. They have created beautiful titanium bands and inlaid a central band of gold or platinum or a specific area that is then engraved by hand. The result is actually much better than if it were solid titanium or any one metal, because there is s contrast that enhances the depth of the detailed engravings and carvings and a three dimensional feeling to each piece. There are Maya and Aztec designs and traditional leaf and scrolls as well as waves and knots and floral designs and geometric shapes that are modern yet rich in texture. You can choose the titanium portion be polished to a sheen or brushed to have a more satin look, you can also select the grade of titanium you prefer, from 6-4 aircraft grade titanium to 6-6-2 which one of the hardest grade of titanium available for jewelry.
