I am a DUI attorney. Much of my internet marketing is for my law firm. And one of the primary goals of my law firm internet marketing strategies, after getting eyeballs to my website, obviously, is to not pay anyone for things that I either don't need or aren't effective. In short, this means I actually have to learn about how to market my business on the internet.
Because of that, when I say in my title where to find internet marketing support, I'm really talking about two different things, and I'll talk about both of them here: support for your marketing efforts and support for learning the business of internet marketing. They are two very different things, and I think you need to be aware of both.
Support for your marketing efforts comes in two parts: manpower to get out the content you need to the places you need it; and information so you don't waste your time and manpower on things that don't work. If you only have one of these, you aren't going to be very effective. It's important to have both. The good news is, they're easy to find.
The first kind of marketing support, the manpower, is pretty easy to find, particularly if you are just starting your own business. It's you. I do all of my law firm internet marketing and have for the last year or so. It takes a couple of hours a day, but they are hours I have. Don't outsource until you have to. It will also help you learn what works and what doesn't.
Finding support to make sure you are doing the right thing is pretty easy too. Just look to the internet. Google things like make money online and how to make money online and you'll see a whole bunch of stuff pop up. And here's the key to finding helpful info - if you have to pay for it, and it's not displayed right there, stay away. There are many blogs out there that give this stuff away for free. Take advantage of it.
Finding internet marketing support shouldn't be difficult, but it's something that needs to be done right. So get out there, do you're thing, and tackle the world.
