Leather rugs are a great way to add a finishing touch to a room decoration project. They add a sophisticated touch not matched by other types of rugs and as there are many styles of rug to choose from, you are likely to find the perfect rug to suit your new interior. Here are a few steps to take if you want to enhance your room scheme with a leather area rug.
1. Decide on a Style
It is not so much the style of the rug that you need to decide on as the style of the room. Hopefully, you decided this in the early stages of decorating your room, but if not you will need to determine if your room would suit a traditional cowhide type rug, a patchwork leather rug or a modern shag rug made of leather or suede strips.
2. Decide on a Color
Even natural hide rugs come in various shades. You can get a plain black rug made from a black animal or a brown, white or mixed version! There are also natural hide rugs which are printed with various animal designs to mimic those animals from which rugs are no longer made - particularly Africam game animals. 3. Decide on the Size of the Rug

4. Look at Availability
Once you have an idea what you are looking for, take a look online to see what is available. (You are unlikely to get such a selection in a local store). You are likely to find a number of floor rugs which are suitable for the area you want to decorate and then you can decide which one would be best based on your taste and budget.
