Many babysitters successfully advertise their business through the use of babysitting flyers but many aren't sure what type of info should actually go on it. Because of this, I thought it would be helpful to present a simple babysitting flyer template that any babysitter could model their own flyers after.

As shown in the above example you should include key information in your babysitting flyers including your name, availability, experience, contact information such as your e-mail address, your babysitting hourly rate, and any childcare related certifications you may possess.
It's usually best to keep the information on your flyers simple and to the point. If you include too much information on your flyers, parents may simply skip right over your flyer.
On the the design side however, if your flyer is too plain, it may not get noticed so it's usually a good idea to make it more noticeable by including an attractive picture or frame around your text. In other words, make it both professional looking and eye catching.
Once you've created your flyers, it's time to distribute them throughout your community. Put them anywhere you think families might frequent, such as the shopping malls, local stores, library, community centers, and churches. Then, just wait for the e-mails to come in.
